Last-minute Bach

Last Sunday, one gentleman came up to me after my afternoon concert, and said that I impressed him so much that I simply MUST appear at a music festival that was being held in Somerville, at the Museum of Modern Renaissance. He said he already got in touch with the festival organizers, and that we had to get there NOW. So we drove over, while I had a snack in the car. We got there towards the end of the festival, and I was introduced as a surprise guest artist. I performed some solo Bach pieces, and the audience was smitten. There was a reception afterwards, and everyone was snapping my photos; I felt like a star. This is the shortest-notice performance I ever did -- quite an adventure!
