Last September, while on tour in Austria with the Israel Chamber Orchestra under conductor Roberto Paternostro, I blogged how we were recording a concerto by Hans Gal for the Gramola label. It was Gal's "Concerto for Violin and Small Orchestra", Op. 39 (1932). (I also posted a photo of our recording gymnasium cum studio, with myself and Maestro Paternostro.) I have just learned that this recording has been released.

here it is. The soloist, Thomas Irnberger, is a local musician from Vienna.
